TRINIDAD CIVIC CLUB
Wondering What Happened to the Trinidad Memorial Lighthouse?
Coastal erosion made it necessary to relocate the Lighthouse. The Cher-ae Heights Indian Community of the Trinidad Rancheria came to the Trinidad Civic Club’s rescue when they offered a temporary location on their harbor property at the base of Trinidad Head. The Trinidad Civic Club is conducting a major fundraising campaign to build a permanent site for our Memorial Lighthouse commemorating the memory of those lost or buried at sea.

THE 25TH ANNUAL TRINIDAD MEMORIAL CEREMONY
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the May 2020 ceremony was cancelled. A few Trinidad Civic Club members and public officials performed a private ceremony at the site of the memorial plaques.
A Symbol of Unity
The Trinidad Memorial Lighthouse was Chosen as a "Symbol of Unity" during this Unprecedented Worldwide Pandemic by Northcoast News (ABC 23 KAEF).
